Claims must be filed within 9 months of your delivery date. We recommend filing as soon as possible after discovering any damage or missing items to ensure the fastest resolution.

You'll need your contract/order number, photos of any damaged items (showing the damage clearly), and a detailed description of each item including its approximate value. Keep all original packaging until your claim is resolved.

Most claims are reviewed within 24-48 hours of submission. Simple claims are typically resolved within 30 days. More complex claims involving third-party assessments may take up to 60 days.

We offer two main coverage options: Released Value Protection (included at no extra cost, covers $0.60 per pound per item) and Full Value Protection (comprehensive coverage where we repair, replace, or provide cash settlement for damaged items at current market value).

Yes! After submitting your claim, you'll receive a confirmation email with a claim number. You can call our dedicated claims line at 1-800-998-4847 or email claims@viptransport.com for status updates.

You can still file a claim for concealed damage discovered after delivery. Document the damage with photos immediately and file your claim as soon as possible, noting that the damage was discovered after unpacking.
