Understanding Your Timeline
Long-distance moves operate on delivery “spreads” — a window of days during which your shipment will arrive. A single truck may carry shipments for multiple families heading in the same direction, and factors like weather and loading order affect the sequence.
As your shipment approaches, the window tightens. The day before delivery, your driver calls to confirm a specific 4-hour arrival block. And with GPS tracking, you can watch the truck approach in real time.
Important to know
If your shipment arrives after the last day of your delivery spread, you may be entitled to delay compensation. The amount and terms are outlined in your Bill of Lading.
