This mission is sustained throughout the year, fostering nationwide collaboration among communities and families.
Wreaths Across America
On December 16th 2023, National Wreaths Across America Day will be observed at over 4,200 locations nationwide, including Arlington National Cemetery, surpassing last year’s total by over 500. More than 3 million volunteers, with a significant portion being children, are expected to participate in this event, providing communities with a unique opportunity to express gratitude to those who have served and sacrificed for freedom. During the event, volunteers will place balsam wreaths on graves, saying the service member’s name aloud to keep their memory alive.
